We started AArrow Advertising out of a dorm room with just $500 so that we could create jobs for our friends and turn sign spinning into a global sport. Now we travel around the world helping other people start their own businesses.

EMPLOYMENT
Our passion for youth employment stems from our desire to create flexible economic opportunities, and since 2002 we have employed over 5000 young people as sign spinners. By creating a job specifically designed for young people, we are able to do our part in combatting high unemployment rates that often plague this demographic set while also providing valuable marketing, sales, and management train

EDUCATION
Although we do some of our best work on the street corner, AArrow actually started as a student run business and flourished as a series of class projects at Georgetown University. Co-founders Max Durovic and Mike Kenny speak to students across the world about how to start their own business, and the benefits of doing so while pursuing a formal business education.

NETWORKING
Our franchise network is comprised of entrepreneurs from all different backgrounds, many of whom have run or currently run other businesses as well. With centuries of combined acumen, we strive to share best practices both internally and externally, and to maintain relationships with other business owners and influencers around the world.

Our employees take pride in our ability to create a one-on-one advertising experience with each person by delivering what no other form of advertising can: eye contact and a smile…

GUERRILLA MARKETING
Advertising is everywhere we look, and companies have to continuously come up with new ways to get people’s attention. Sign spinners can work in virtually any location ensuring that you get noticed.

POINT OF PURCHASE
The old adage in business states “Location, location, location” and advertising is no different. We work with our clients to identify high traffic locations for their sign spinners in order bring the advertisement as close to the point of sale as possible, thus maximizing the probability of a call to action.

CUSTOMIZED ADVERTISING SOLUTIONS
Whether you need a couple spinners, or a couple hundred spinners, WE CAN HANDLE THAT. Each of our campaigns is customized with the optimal number of spinners, dates, and service times to ensure a maximum return on investment.

We spinvented the sport of sign spinning in Ocean Beach, California, where everyone surfs and skates. So it was only natural for us to start naming the tricks we were doing with the signs in order to get peoples’ attention.

TRICKS
We have “spinvented” over 500 official tricks and stored them in our copyrighted “tricktionary”, allowing us to create endless combinations and ensuring that no two sign spinners are exactly the same.

PRACTICE
AArrow Sign Spinners practice their skills as a team at least once a week allowing sign spinners to learn new tricks and techniques from their “spinstructor” as well each other. Practices also create an opportunity for team building and allow us to encourage physical fitness.

COMPETITIONS
Each year, the World Sign Spinning Championship brings together the best sign spinners in the world to see who has the best technical ability, execution and style in a two day long tournament.

AArrow Advertising has made sign spinning so popular that it has spinfiltrated pop culture. Sign spinners can regularly be seen in music videos, television shows, commercials, and even big screen productions…

STREET PERFORMERS
Every AArrow Sign Spinner is trained to turn the corner into their stage, and make themselves the center of attention all day long. We also try and get a smile out of each person that sees us spin, not only because it makes the advertising more effective, but also because it is good for the universe.

TELEVISION
Sign spinning has “spinfiltrated” pop culture, and been featured in a number of hit shows, including: The Simpsons, South Park, The Office, Two and Half Men, High School Musical, MadTV, 1000 Ways to Die, Hell’s Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmare and Disney’s Car Toons.

MUSIC VIDEOS
It’s no secret that AArrow Sign Spinners are the rock stars of the street corner, often times even transforming their sign into a guitar, drums, piano or set of turntables. Over the years our spinners have been featured in music videos for bands such as 311, The Ting Tings, and Devo.

COMMERCIALS
Our company is full of super stars that just happen to spin signs for a living. Many of our spinners have been spotted for the good looks and swagger and made the stars of campaigns for McDonalds, Ford, Philips, Orange, and K2 Racing.
