We were very excited to spin signs for Teletón, a nationwide broadcast to raise funds for young people with debilitating diseases. Earlier this month, Philips continued their ‘Express Yourself Every Day’ campaign in London by setting up a tent in Covent Garden Square and calling it the “Philips Bodygroom Barbershop.” Here there were “barber babes” out to find as many hairy men as possible to shave. (more…)
Walmart’s Facebook campaign “Fighting Hunger Together” has inspired food banks all across the country to compete for the most votes, which could win them the top prize of 1 million dollars or one of 20 runner-up prizes of $50,000. This money could help food banks feed thousands and further the goal to fight hunger in America. On Monday, April 30th Honest Tea had launch a new, national recycling initiative called “The Great Recycle,” by erecting a 30-foot bin, Hired the world famous AArrow Sign spinners in Times Square in an attempt to collect more than 45,000 beverage containers in one day — approximately the same number of HONEST beverage bottles typically sold daily in NYC in April. AArrow CEO and Sign Spinner Max Durovic attended HYPE Los Angeles’ 2nd Annual Friendraiser while Jon Brown entertained the guests and welcomed them to the event. The Friendraiser was a smashing success, raising money and awareness for this noble cause. Helping Young People Excel (HYPE) is a non-profit organization that works to provide outstanding educational opportunities for low-income students.
AArrow Advertising Phoenix was a team sponsor for the Boys and Girls Club of Metro Phoenix this past Friday at the Raven South Mountain Golf Club.West Phoenix franchisee Nick Teschler is on the board for the Boys and Girls Club and was very excited to have Mark Montellano and Bryan Sanchez spinning during the award ceremony and as the guests were leaving. B&G raised close to $14,000 (exceeding their goal by almost $5,000), making the tourney a huge success.
Not Alone, an organization that works with Soldiers and First Responders in dealing with the challenges of coming home from war and loss, had a fundraiser at the Hard Rock Café in Nashville. Night Rider was doing a special showing as a benefit for Not Alone on September 11 and of course our sign spinners couldn’t miss out on this event either! AArrow’s sign spinners spun for 20 hours to raise awareness of the concert and sell tickets.
